Pascal Cambell Jones Parabatix Flying Display

Paramotoring has been around since the early 90s. Looking like flying armchairs, paramotors are in fact engine-powered paragliders. These remarkably simple craft are a cross between a parachute and a microlight.

Since a young age he has bathed in a background of paraaviation. Having worked in the wing manufacturing & R&D business for most of his life he has got to know all too well the wings his father has designed. His aim has always been to create and participate in a dynamic new class of flying competition, today his dream is realised with the Parabatix Sky race! His aim is to show off the true capability of these incredible flying machines with an elite class of competition and world best pilots!

he was wizzing around the arena i was watching and getting photos from under a tree lol

Sharron had gone for a walk and i did not want to loose my spot

we next get a model aircraft display

i found these as hard to photograph as the red arrows lol

getting bored with that i went to see the helicopter

back to the arena time for another go

it was close to me now so a bit easier to photograph

end of the display

next up
EXIT Parachute Display Team. we were told the X is also used as a safety tool if the ground staff roll it up it tells thejumpers itis not safe to jump

they circle the arena at 2000 thousand feet

throwing down markers to check wind direction and as a target

here they come

another demonstration from pascal

this time he was at the fence close to me so i could get some land shots

he was having problems with lack of wind

another failed attempt

so they move him to another part of the arena

couple of more air shots

one final balloon
this is the end of part one of this day another blog to follow with just balloons

You pair get around...LOL!! Always something to see and do and photograph. Great set of pictures again. You'll need another Hard drive to store all your images. LOL! Must be great to actually be there and see them fly up up and away. I have thought about going up in one but climbing in the basket would be my problem. LOL!! I'll stick to flying in planes. Thanks for sharing. Hi to Sharon
