Morning Dew
Recently I've been up early and have been taking photos of morning dew. I know I've done some of this before but I have never been to happy with the results. After reading a few online tutorials I have given it another go.
So, this morning and yesterday morning I was up at 7am ( there's dedication
) to try and capture these hidden beauties. Luckily there was heavy dew which was perfect for reflecting the flowers in the droplets. I think my neighbours thought I was mental kneeling, staring at the grass lol.
To get all the droplet and reflection in focus I had to use focus stacking. I did this by hand it PS. All photos were taken using the Fuji S200EXR and Raynox 250 macro attached.
Here are the best photos from the many I took;

Thanks for looking.

Hi Jack
Well there is dedication for you, but, what results, Each one an absolute "gem". Is this the Raynox along with your S200EXR? I like the way you have other subjects in each drop too. You ought to try one with a mirror and get yourself in one of those droplets. "self portrait" you could call it. that would be a special one for sure. Don't call it "Jack on grass" you might get arrested.
Cheers M8

I have said this before Jack, I really must stop looking at your images, jealousy can be a dangerous thing
Stunning is not a word adequate enough to describe them but it's the nearest I can think of

Jack on your profile page the last paragraph on who you are says.
"A Look At My Gallery, Any Feedback And Tips Are Greatly Appreciated."
Think you need to re phrase that mate to say.
"Anyone want help or tips"
Brilliant.

That was excellent! Your photoblog was very terrific because it's about Morning Dew, that make the water drops on the plants.
That images are terrific, that you've been taken a lot of pictures. That's good!
Thank you!

I tried three times to "like" this blog, but I couldn't make it stick. Maybe that's because "like" isn't a strong enough emotion. I found #2 and #4 the most pleasing, but everyone of them was worth a long, slow look. Thanks for sharing.

I wonder if you were facing Mecca? That would have confused the neighbours! Nice to know they were done "au naturalle". Wet knees though (unless you had a mat with you - cue the neighbours' eyes on stalks). They are of course, amazing images. Thanks for giving the link, I'm curious to see how you trap the reflections.

My only advice to you would be to get up even earlier and listen to the dawn chorus while you do these amazing shots. Not only would you find more dew, there would be amazing music and your neighbour would still be in bed!
