A walk at Cromer - Gem of the Norfolk Coast..................

It was a super day and weather was really warm - we started off from the Pier and walked towards Runton - sorry cannot remember if it was East or West - oh dear -

We started our walk from Brandon well not the walk really - we drove to Fakenham and then got the bus to Wells-next-the-sea and then the bus to Cromer - all free with our bus passes well for the moment anyway................

There were some lovely beach huts along the way - and they fetch a price these days - plenty of people about for nearing the end of the season

we met this lovely little dog called Sally she really was so sweet and was set to come on the walk with us...............

We were then set to leave the beach but not before watching this fisherman trying to hitch his boat to his tractor fortunately a friend came along to help him..............

we then ventured into the country side it was such a fantastic day and getting hotter....

we also have a walk with us with written instructions - we would never make it otherwise and cannot read maps - we have throught about taking map reading lessons - well we thought about it and that was that.....

You meet such lovely people along the way and of course plenty of dog owners - this lovely boy was called Zach - owners are always willing for me to take photos...............

The views where splendid - you cannot beat the English Countryside on a day like this and keeping fit at the same time - our walk was 5 miles long....well maybe a bit longer if we go off track......!!!!

I love seeing the farm animals and any wildlife along the way - these sheep seemed to like having their photo taken....still very hot - pit stop for a drink and a sit down...

we then came onto the village green and the duck pond - lots of geese here and they were very active - washing and preening......I think they were geese or very big white ducks !!!!

plenty to see along the way and could not resist taking a picture of this Morris Traveller - my Dad used to have one - brings back fond memories...

Having nearly finished the walk and come full circle we arrive back at the Cromer sea front - such a lovely walk and then time for a cup of tea and a cake !!!!

so its back on the bus to Well-next-the-sea and on the return trip off at Fakenham and into Drifters for fish and chips the best I have ever had and then drive back to Brandon - a super day out with my two best friends - thank you for reading and looking

A nice meandering little blog.  Good sea scenes and the colours in the beach hut fronts really sparkle.

A very interesting blog. I love the vibrant colour of the sea in the first couple of photo's, but the shot of the beach huts has to be my favorite. All I can remember about Cromer is wet weather steep steps and cliffs but that was about forty years ago. Thanks for sharing.
