Well done Jim, a super 'walk' through lakeland. Many places are familiar to me and much hasn't changed. It was certainly a great weekend - everyone seems to have had a brilliant time and really enjoyed themselves.

Hi Jim (and Sheryl) What a wonderful photoblog you've compiled to share with everyone. Glad you persevered to completion as it is disheartening to see hours worth disappear into space. I have lost many hours of work and taken umpteen attempts at times to post my blogs. Well worth it in the end Jim to see a lovely documented photo portrayal of what seemed to be a huge successful Lakes Meet with Fuji folk. Love your photography compositions and the good weather helped to present the images in a better light too. Fuji friends for life at these meets and I hope to meet you and Sheryl one day. Thanks for compiling and sharing. Thanks Jim for your lovely kind good wishes. I have a good day then a bad at the moment but recovering well from my life threatening illness. Just glad I wasn't onboard the cruise ship (It's docked in Russia today) Take care. Look after yourselves. Alison x

So! you remembered how to do a blog ;-) ..I must say I have been very envious of the trip. I've been to Cumbria three times once to Keswick down a mine and twice to Appleby fair, after reading Ian's blogs I decided this year (before its too late) I wanted to get up there and walk. These blogs have been the next best thing to my walking in the lakes. I love the scenery and you have taken some lovely photo's of it, if at times it was a bit crowded
I'm glad you had good weather and everything worked out well. Thanks for perservering and eventually getting it posted.

I always enjoy the blogs from the Fuji meets--not only do they introduce me to the real people behind the avatars and psuedonyms, but seeing how what different people chose to shoot when traveling together is always interesting. I gather from the comments that you had some difficulties posting. Glad you didn't let the team down.
