THE ENIGMATIC WATERS
Some people have beautiful models poseing, some have Majestic buildings and wonderful Architecture to film, some come from far away places with sandy beaches and bright coloured Birds and lots of sunshine, Me !! I have countryside with streams and rivers and Hills covered in Pine Forest plenty of cloud and rain and low light. With the summer well behind us and a very cold damp Autumn upon us the animals and insects have quite sensibly gone to ground and mists shroud the scenery however the silver lining has shone through , We have just finished the second flood of the season so far and with a passion for the gurgling streams and rolling waters i have taken a few precarious walks into the depths of the forest(not that deep) to take pics of the wonder of the forest streams.the first three pics come from the first flood a couple of months ago. I have used bracket three and merge on quite a few and make no apologies for enhancements, the red and yellow water is real and comes from the hillside more so on the heavy floods if they get the right light.

This rolling stream looks quite insignicant but the pictures that follow are all taken within a 100 yard length of the river bank and at one point from in the river itself, I had to walk home soaked to the skin which wasn't very pleasant but HEY who cares I got the pic I wanted

this was after the flood when things had calmed down

Well with no more water in the stream( its just a trickle now) , No sunshine ,this is the very end of this blog. keep smiling till next time rick goes wild
probably a bit short on rhetoric but I hope you have enjoyed the Argyll flood ,here's to the next time its bye now to you happy snappers

Great stuff! Loving all those peaty minerals and the colour they add to the water.

Hello Richard
I thought I had commented on this some time back!!! It's a great photoblog, I love that coloured water and you have captured it really well. Lots of movement in the shots. You are lucky to live in such a vibrant place. I too live in a nice place as you no doubt know, we must feel ourselves lucky that we do.
Cheers M8. Nice work.
