This happened last winter, I leave a bowl of water out for the birds and after a really cold night I get up and find this in the bowl, I couldn't believe what I was looking at and no idea at all as to how or what caused the ice to form this strange column of frozen water. It's triangular in shape and big enough to get my little finger in....
needless to say I looked again the next day, it had tried to do it again, but this time it was just a little mound in the bowl.....Any idea's
