Pam such wonderful poetry and a beautiful photo too. I hope all is well with you. Your image is spectacular what can I say? I just wished I was with you on that day. You took it from a fabulous vantage view. The clouds, the dunes and oh, the footprints too ! Next time you go to such a foreign land....I'll go with you to the sand. I'll catch up soon so have a good time...and by the way, many thanks for the lovely lovely comments on mine. Thanks Pam

Thank you everyone for all your kind comments. This photo was taken in Namibia in the Nabib desert, one of the oldest deserts in the world. I only managed to climb half way up, some of our group got a lot further. It was very beautiful. Thank you once again, Pam
I did put a blog on a while back which shows more photos of this desert. If you would like to see it the link is Blog, My trip to Namibia in South West Africa. http://www.myfinepix.com/blog/1529/156493

An absolutely stunning image Pam and so perfect for the theme. Beautiful colours too. On looking at it again I've noticed the people in the background which certainly gives it a sense of scale. How wonderful to have been able to leave your footprints in such a beautiful place. Well done.

The footprints look very deep, it must have been hard work walking in the sand, but worth the effort, stunning photo and a superb memory im-print.

Hi everyone. I got back from a week in Scotland late last night and was amazed to see all the lovely comments I have had on my photo of the dunes.
Thank you all so much. It was also nice to hear that I had made the scrolling page. Unfortunatley I did not get to see it as it is no longer there. Thanks again Pam.
