This is a great, great photo. Personally I think you've set the standard early on. Crisp, clear, curves, lines, shadows, the old and the new.

Very best of luck. Hopefully this will appear on the main gallery page.

A striking picture, in both shape and colour. Did you try clipping the bottom 10% off? It might look even better?

This is the best photo of this bridge  that I have  seen, the angle is superb, an excellent comp entry and a very interesting photo too!

You have a very interesting gallery, perhaps you may have time to create a photoblog one day? they are very easy to do, although time consuming!

I like this. It looks neat, and clean.

The contrast of old and new, and blue and white, both appeal to me.

Well framed. I think this could be a winner B.O.L.

I love this picture (I'm biased being from Newcastle lol).

Seriously though, the way the old is presented through a view of the new is perfectly captured, with great colour and detail. BOL

Hi Sherryl, great colours and fantastic capture, but you are using a s100fs ( the Legend) i have one of those. Oh by the way thanks for your comments on mine and yes you were correct, old = scotch = 12 years old and new = chocolate biscuit = 1 month old?

regards

Ken.
