That's industrious all right, even if the vigneron might prefer to call it "artisanal"! Nicely laid out - not too symmetrical!

Super vantage point and perspective Charles. Love the symmetry. Good clear detail and textures. Nice use of light and shade. Like the tones as it brings out the woodgrain. Very atmospheric.
Good luck.

Great image Chas. And I suspect it helps living in France where such sights are more available. And if it is ageing in Oak then I would seriously love it!!

Hi i have looked at this photo of yours i knew that it was taken by a professional.
I ave been taking and developing my own photos since i was 12 and progressed into colour I had a Durst colour enlarger with full darkroom facilities.in my loft. My interest was mainly as a hobby but i did some weddings and suchlike which helped to pay for my hobby.
Ref your comments. The smiddy was in Blistshill and the blacksmith was having a break when i asked him ifhe could make a toasting fork for me At the time i took the photo he had just opened up the fire and was about ready to start making the fork. One factor you failled to take into account was prevailing circumstances. I elaborate.
I have Diabetic foot ulcers,Schindlers fracures to both feet and Osteomilitis in both feet. The result of these conditions means that i cannot stand around indefinately as i then suffer excrusiaing pain hence the reason why a better composed photo was taken as i had to leave the smiddy in order to sit down.
All your comments are well known to me as imsure i have learned quite a lot about photography in 55 years. Under my circumstances I do the best i can ,
Thanks for your comments anyway.Bol
