wouldn`t want to be in the sea with those waves coming towards me ! great shot but I think I would like it even more with the bit of sand cropped off
Reply to comment
Thanks Debz. I left in the sand because it seemed to emphasise how close the waves were in relation to the beach.

Goodness me, that's not a wave that's a Tsunami!
Lovely colours captured and the atmosphere has remained, which sometimes, is difficult.
Well done.

Perfectly timed shot from a great vantage point Jacquie. Stunning use of light and shade. The colours and clarity of detail are second to none. Has to be viewed larger. I can almost smell the salty air. So dramatic and atmospheric. I hope I don't put a dampener on this but hope its in the top 3.
All the best.

This is perfect for the Extreme theme, the colour that shines through the breaking waves is awesome, as is the mist crowning the crashing waves, a wonderful composition, the very best of luck with this one.

Remarkable shot. I like the sand too as the proximity to the beach is all important to lend scale to the waves. Very well taken and extreme to the nth degree. Must be a very strong contender..........good luck
