Ok ... When I am taking photos and reviewing them they look great on the LCD. The colours pop out its very contrasty & when I zoom (on preview to check sharpness) it all seems good. When I import photos to Lightroom , they seem to have lost their punch , contrast and sharpness. I know some of this could be attributed to viewing on a smaller screen but its annoying in a way because I think I got the shot then I have to tweak a fair bit to get it to resemble what is on the LCD screen . Could it be something to do with monitor calibration or colour space?

Hi I know that similar question have been aske before, but I have bought some Epson 190 /gm paper for use with my canon mp 610 printer, because it was cheap.I've printed the same  photo on the Canon Plus Glossy 270 gm paper and on the Epson paper. Both copies are vey good. Compared to the Canon print the Epson print is slightly pinker, only reallly noticeable on the sky. I there anything I can do to make the Epson print more like the Canon print, which is slightly yellower by comparison. Thanks Morris

Hi allBe advised that the USB port on the HS50EXR is not standard. Standard micro USB cable will not fit. I ordered the RR-80 remote shutter and will not fit even though Amazon's description says it will. No one in the USA has the Remote (RR-80A) available. Another letdown from Fuji's marketing people. I pre-ordered the wireless remote and it too will not fit. I'll have to toss that one in the trash as I bought it on eBay and not returnable.

I have just upgraded my 2.5 year-old HS10 to an HS50EXR, and wondered if other users had any comparisons.  A have a few, as follows.  First though, I just have to say how much I loved the HS10.  I always enjoyed using it and had some fantastic results.  I have just sold it on eBay, and am slightly disappointed at the very low price it went for, but hey, now someone else gets the chance to have it, and I'm sure they'll love it to.  As for the HS50 - well, I know I'm going to love it even more than the HS10.  It is truly wonderful:

Hi, I am fairly new to photography and trying to get some decent pics with my new S4500. I tried some moon and stars shots, but the moon came out very blurry and the stars did not show at all. Can anyone give me some pointers to try out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Can anyone ID this Bird?  Two of them visited my seed feeder yesterday. this was a quick shot  through three panes of glass with my XS-1, as he only stayed for about 30 seconds. I think it is a finch of some kind but I can't find it in my Birds of Brittain  and Europe  Book. Thanks in advance!.I tried to upload the photo but it was removed so I have put it in my Gallery.

Sharing memories is the title and Thank fully I have a photo all ready to go, makes a change as I am normally struggling to find a subject. One thing though, the standard of late is becoming very strong, especially looking at this months entries. I have really enjoyed looking at this months entries a lot though I am sorry if I have not commented, I don't get a lot of time to relax, not to mention the fun we have trying to add anything to this site.I have to say I enjoy the high standard more as it pushes me to try harder and try to creat a good shot.

I would just like to give a big thank-you to the repair team that sorted out my S2980. Not sure if this the norm, but for you guy's to do it in just six day's, lets just say that I am very impressed indeed!. My lovely wife gave it to me as an Xmas present (so we could use it on holiday in Wales on the 18th of this month) and I was proper made up by it. Until the lens got stuck in and we couldn't do anything with it what so ever,,,,, a very sad day :( . This happened on bank holiday Monday.

Hello to All,When shooting with my HS30 in aperture priority or manual I don't see any real difference in my depth of field. Even if I drop my f/stop all the way. I notice a little blurr of the background, nothing like I'm used to with my other cameras. The only way I find to achieve a very dramatic affect is to get a football field away from my subject and zoom in. This does not work well when you are shooting in a small room but want to bring your subject to the foreground and blurr the distracting background. Any tips, tricks or advice is greatly appreciated.

As you can see from my gallery my shots at the moment consist of nature and macro shots. I have a keen intrest in street photography, but i am not sure how to go about it. I feel i may anger people if they see me taking pictures of the streets and getting them in the shot. I wont be uploading any new shots anytime soon because im currently bed bound due to another knee injury and have an operation soon. But any tips on street photography would be really helpful and apreciated. Please check out my gallery.Calum.

Just got the X-S1 and am loving it.  The on-camera flash is excellent and seems to be well controlled automatically.  All small flashes have their limits, so I am looking to save for the EF42.Yes, I know it is a rebranded Sunpak, but I understand that it has been adjusted/altered to suit the Fujifilm cameras.Does anyone have experience with the flashgun?  Your thoughts please.
