Continuous shooting mode where the camera takes 5 shots in one take then you get then you can get the best shot

The light will be low but there may also be spot lights, disco lights etc that may fool the camera. If they are blurry then you probably have a slow shutter speed, so you need to make that quicker. I don't have that camera but it will be a mixture of high iso, wide aperture to give a quicker shutter speed, but even then there may not be enough light for the camera to get a decent shot.
You haven't said but are you using flash when you get blurry shots ?  If you put some shots in your gallery then we can see the exif data and get some idea of the settings.

A shutter speed of 1/200 sec, with flash, an ISO of 800, a wide aperture and wide angle should solve most of the exposure problems.  You may have to use noise reduction software to produce an acceptable image afterwards as well as cropping some of the images. With people moving around you are almost bound to get some failures so take lots of photos.

The wide angle setting will give you a decent depth of field to keep things in focus as well as allowing you to use a wide aperture to balance the faster shutter speed. Remember the inbuilt flash on your camera has a very limited range so try to keep your subject within about 10 feet of the camera. Some shots are likely to look over exposed while others may look under exposed, depending on how far they are from the camera but a photo editor can do much to solve these problems.

For that type of shots, I tend to just use Program mode. The results won't be that artistic, but they'll be a record, which is normally what I'm after at a party.
