Don't really do a lot of bird pics, but i have got a few good ones lately, would appreciate some feedback. And please view it large or larger at the Flickr link.

Hi Kim,
The duck. It's sharp and the water's fine. It just needs highlight adjusted on the plumage. There's several tools in image editors tae lift the plumage lighting like curves or the lasso and others, with brightness/contrast. (do it on a copy).

hi Kim, re. yer post on my gallery shot. Have ye tried GIMP - http://www.gimp.org/
It can be a bit daunting at first but ah've managed tae wrestle about 10% of it intae submission (so far). It is more powerful than several "paid for" programs. This would enable more control over shots like yer duck one. Ah use Picasa and Photofiltre (both free) for everyday processing. Picasa is an excellent intermediate step and it has a good setup and free 2Gb online storage. Ah pay $5 annually for 20Gb storage.
