Choice of languages

As a quite new member in this forum I miss the possibility of choosing German language. I can`t believe that the number of German-speaking users of FUJI-products is too small to give them the possibility to use their language in an own forum.

By the way: I`m a Fuji-user since 2007 (F31FD - the best!). Before  a few days I added a F750EXR because of their large zoom and I`m not disappointed.

welcome to the site Ernest, sorry you can't use your own language but i'm sure you will manage, (I occasionally use google translate to leave a comment on a shot from a different country!) we are a friendly bunch of people on here and if you have any queries or questions, you only have to ask and someone will be able to help you. Hello Ernest,

There is a special German site of FujiFilm. You can find it at: http://finepix.de/home/. They have their own forum, their own competition, their own newsletter… the site has a completely different layout. I don't know the reason for that.

Viele Grüße,

Tilman

Hi Ernest,

willkommen im Forum.

since when do Austrians speak German Wink

There really is a German speaking Fuji forum  http://finepix.de/myfinepix/myfinepix/  . It's quite good if you have technical questions but actually the members here are nicer (I am German and am allowed to say this :)  )   and you get a bigger gallery plus the blogs.

Grüß Gott Ernest.  Now you can see how helpful the folks are here on the UK site.  I don't know how active the German site is or whether they are as crazy as we are, but you are always welcome here to interact with us.

Just to make you feel at home while you are on Fuji UK, here is a shot of Hinterglemm, where I spent a wonderful week many years ago.  Our Alison Bruce-Stone is a regular visitor to your beautiful country too, usually around Zell Am Zee, not far from Hinterglemm.

Welcome and good luck with your photography (from and Englishman in USA).

Laughing out loud

Bokeh

Re fotost: Thank you for the link! I know that in German speaking forums often "herrscht immer noch der gleiche Ton, wie seinerzeit auf den Baeumen" (Erich Kaestner -die Entwicklung der Menschheit) Wink   Re: Wa Pa Shaw III: Thanks for your letter and "postcard"from Saalbach-Hinterglemm! I spent a few weeks on the fantastic skiing-grounds there.  My new Fuji F750 is primarily intended to be used for  documenting hiking- and mountaneering-tours. I hope I can present my first pics soon.

Best regards, Ernest.
