Just had an email saying that because I went to the NEC this year, they have automatically sent me a member No for 2011. Badge to arrive Jan 2011.
Looks like another meet is on the cards.

I was doing chores at 6:30 this morning. Isn't it amazing how much you find to do at the last minute?
Oh well. I'm just gonna head out and go see the show. If I am first to the Fuji stand then I can stand back and watch everyone turn up.
I must say that it will be hard to recognise Jen without her massive amounts of nose hair. If only she had some mother distinguishing features.

You lucky thing you G, all your chores done, off to the FOI then flying to far off lands tomorrow AND meeting Jen too! Now what more could a person want?
Pity Jen doesnt still have her boot on, you would have spotted her for sure, just dont know how your gonna make her out in all those crowds of people?????? hehehe

Well, we all stood at the Fuji stand, as organised, and awaited our lovely 'Queen' Jen....
Immediately, as teachers do, she started sorting us all out. Habits die hard I guess.

What a kind lady you are. Did not expect a gift. When I got home one daughter confiscated the jelly beans the other daughter snatched the creme egg and the Mrs is busy planting the seeds. The other I bought a coffee with and will donate the rest to 'Help the Heroes'
There were a few of us blokes there at FOI who want to marry you. Looks like I'm first in line.

It was great meeting everyone today and we were all more than pleased with our lovely Rosie's gifts. Rosie, you are a pain in the bum, in the nicest possible way. We have decided to save our drink money until you are with us to enjoy it.
Steve and I were talking of a possible meet in early summer in York. That puts us fair and square in Vivland and hopefully you will be able to join us.
Travelodge can be had cheap and I am sure there will be a nearby airport for a flight from NI and a willing volunteer to pick you and Mr Rosie up.

Rosie, how great a York meet would be eh, and don't worry about travel lodges, travel Vivs are even cheaper!! We could wear our 'hats' and have a pretend celebration with the lovely G!!

Great to meet with everyone and many thanks to Rosie for the very generous gift. Marc (a.k.a Fred) very graciously consented to take a snap of the group using his expertise with Fuji cameras. This was his first attempt

Hi All, looks like you all had a fab time yesterday. So pleased you enjoyed yourselves but equally sorry I couldn't make it
(Wish I didn't have to go to work....lotto win needed I think!)
I can't make the Peterborough meet so I will endeavour to make the York one - much closer for me so hopefully no excuses and I'll be there.
