Hi

Just had an email saying that because I went to the NEC this year, they have automatically sent me a member No for 2011.  Badge to arrive Jan 2011.

Looks like another meet is on the cards.

Just in case anyone puts a pic in the gallery of me like Chris did last year (and because Jen is going to be there!!) I thought I'd better look a bit smarter this year.  As the Sun was shining this morning I forced myself to go to Coventry market again - last visit was before Christmas when I bought a pair of trousers (and my S2500HD).    The trousers are a bit thin so haven't worn them yet - and still have to turn the legs up an inch or so (with ironed on tape) - anyway, when I went to buy a zip-up cardigan to go with them today I'd forgotten what colour they were.  It's a job getting anything big enough for me - I did find a dark one I liked but it was £18 so didn't get it in case it didn't match my trousers - then I found another stall and settled on a grey one which will go with anything, for £15.  I also bought a new grey cord cap as well as the one I wore last year and still wear is a bit tatty. (My trousers are navy)!!

So, that just leaves a hair cut as at present it's about the same as in the pic of last year - never even crossed my mind to get it cut for then!!

Although G and I have met before, a little known, hide-away hotel in the Cotswolds, what a weekend! He just wore his jeans.

we would love to come and meet everyone but unfortunately Unda sneakily booked a couple of foreign trips for us over the next few weeks so I will have to suffer Bremen, Venice and Tallinn instead.  What a bummer :'(

Just getting organised for FOI and really looking forwards to it! Got a few days in Mijas to cope with first.. Try and top up my non-existant tan!

Are there bargains to be had? There are a couple of bits I want for the Canon (Filters / wifi timer etc), is it worth saving my birthday pennies for the big day?

There are usually some special offers available at the show. Save your pennies and have a look you never know.  Anyway at least you would be able to compare prices at the stand before you spent those hard earned notes, unless you have spent it all in Mijas first that is!!!  Have a great trip.

Shame Andy that you and Unda will be roughing it on your trip!!!  Have a great time and no doubt a blog will follow.
