Hi everybody, I down in Sommerset at the moment and there have been acrobatic planes flying over all day. There were various types of planes flying over. I believe some were the Red Arrows because they had the union jack underneath. It was incredible to watch as they flew in formation and the noise they made was just unbelievable. In all the excitement I forgot to grab my camera and once I finally did get it they were flying behind trees. I really have got to learn to carry my camera everywhere. LOL.I did get one good shot as they flew in formation.

I have wanted to make this blog for a while, and now I have completed my serial blog's of the ducklings (which all 13 plus mum have flown safetley away). I thought I would have a go at showing some of the places I have always wanted to visit around the world. I have started with Machu Pichu which is probably my favourite. Hi, Good morning.Steph just said to me, "there is an odd looking bird on the neighbours roof" I nipped and got the camera and took this. I know it's a young blackbird, but I have never seen one as orange as this. Straight from the camera just cropped a smidgen.I just wonder if any of you bird folk out there have seen one as "orange" as this. Dull overcast sky, no flash.Cheers and have a nice Sunday.

Probably been said before ...just found a great site to send repeated one-pic bloggers to , in fact i am now posting there instead of the daily challenges the last couple of days ( last 2 days challenges havent appealed to me )......http://www.blipfoto.comIn fact you cannot post more than one pic per day!!!! fit's the bill me thinks heheLove it's layout and some interesting blogs ..love the idea .. and a safe place to put one pic and a little blurb about it .:)Rich

wife was @ hosp, for physio her name called so i went outside for a fag. flowers there saw some ladybirds so took a few shots of em, just then the s/guard appears shouting oi what i said ya cant take pics, in the hosp, grounds fair enuuf i said.

Hi Alan.Your contact button is not active so I've posted here.For that reason your friend's name, sex or camera equipment is not mentioned in this reply. The length of the reply is in some respects due to my thought process on how to explain how I looked at the photos in your request and why I judged them the way I have. Also to show that curing one problem normally leads to another.Regarding the use of a bridge for low light concert work or less than ideal sports conditions.

I am considering having a Photovoltaic system installed. Month or so ago a guy came down to give me all the necessary info. yesterday 2 guys came to do a survey and then to go away and produce a plan of what and where for the most efficient system. They talk me through one or two points and then say I have to get a form from my Electricity supplier (Scottish Power) which has to be completed by the installers in order for me to get paid for my electricity. So I phone Scottish Power this afternoon - 14.21 p.m.

why are these birds doing this ? young blackbird and a sparrow taken thro d/glazing at a angle not to good a pic, b/bird doing it for quite a while they wasnt injured walking around the garden till they both did this then flew off happilypaul......................

Finepix S7000 small grey spot in field of view

A small round uniformly grey spot with hazy edges has appeared in the optical system of my Finepix S7000. It takes up only 5.3% of the width of the field. I first noticed it when photographing text on a whit page. It shows very clearly when viewing blue sky. It is situated close to the bottom left of the yellow square in the middle of the field of view. It is not a mark on the lens but it ends up as a mark on the images taken.Does anyone know what this might be and what is the remedy? The camera has not been dropped since I got ita few years ago.

Last week I lost the little plate with my 2 front teeth on, having took them out to eat some little choc bars whilst visiting Coventry.This morning I went to my dentist to sort out some new ones - I'd just sat in the chair when his nurse/receptionist said "You know they're going to cost you £198" - followed by the dentist saying - "Thats NHS charges - I can do them privately for £150" !!!
