I bought the HS20 as my first 'proper' camera - previous cameras have always been simple point and shoot - and am looking to improve my photography as it is something I love doing, though since getting the camera I think I have been winding my wife up with my constant fiddling with the camera

I have an interest in athletics which I actively participate in both competing and, to a lesser extent, coaching.

As a member of English Heritage I'm sure that as time goes on there will be a number of related blogs, and having a toddler zoos and nature reserves will probably also feature quite regularly - I've been loving the birds of prey displays in particular. I am also hoping to start adding occasional airshow shots.

As a newbie to photography all feedback good or bad would be welcomed as I want to improve as much as I possibly can.
