I was expecting a picture of a woman of a certain age! Could do with a little more detail in the wings - faster shutter speed?

Nice one Steve, I may have the wing veins showing in mine but you haven't haven't got the noise in yours. Forgot to put mine through noise reduction before posting it in my excitement....lol.
Let's see if we can get both on the scroller before mine disappears

Steve, we are both the same age and use the same camera. My reaction time would never allow a photo like this... Just stunning
How many photos did it take to get that result? To get a dragon hovering over one place looks difficult enough but to get one in flight....?

Dont know how you did it Steve- my only chance would be to hang it in front of the camera and add the background but even then i dont think i would get a beuty like this one,great shot and looks so well on the scroller
