Well I like this Ian, I don't think it's overdone at all!! The clouds are perfect and really stand out. I love the detail in the water too, and the while of the houses and detail of the windows is great too.
Love it - my neck of the woods. Clouds are amazing. Your windmill shot is magnificent too. The Wet Wok in the corner looks great at night but I have yet to perfect this shot using my white balance. Photomatix looks good - it takes an average of three exposures and gives an effect such as this. I think we will be seeing it used more and more. I am playing with the free version at the moment. BTW - thanks for you lovely comment.
