Thought this might be yours after seeing it on the scroller. Absolutely stunning. Got the exposure spot on and the yellow of that beak is incredible.

Great shot, I had a similar opportunity but my HS-20 fell apart image quality wise. Glad you have the X-s1, what was your location and what was your telephoto range?
I don't have any good pictures so there is not a link to my gallery, just a quote.

@ fujihs20man i took this picture at The Raptor Centre at Groombridge Place near tunbridge wells and i was quite near so probably only 10x zoom

Beautiful detail on this shot of an awesome raptor.
I am fortunate in that I have America's National Eagle Center just upriver from me here in Wabasha. I volunteer there as much as possible and am a trained handler. Being close to these amazing creatures really allows you to feel their spirit and marvel at their majesty.

Thanks Tim. That X-s1 is nice; I wish I would have waited 1 month and I would have saved for that instead. Now I am stuck with the HS20 for the long haul. I will make due though; it's not a horrible camera.
The American Eagle I saw was wild........I was lucky with that one. This is a fantastic photograph and I actually felt like how I did after seeing Saving Private Ryan.
