What did you take that with?

I don't have any good pictures so there is not a link to my gallery, just a quote.

This was taken with my D700 and my 85mm f/1.8 with a raynox 250 attached.  I got the raynox a short time ago and have been experimenting with it attached to a variety of lenses and cameras. I even attached it to my 60mm macro and it works but I think the 60mm works better without it in most cases.  The raynox seems to cause some IQ issues no matter what lens or camera I attach it too such as some distortion.  It is only sharp centered on the horizontal even when shooting things on the same plane which should be sharp from edge to edge. The edge softness can be cropped out although this image was ok across the frame without a crop at f/10.

EXIF: 1/160 second, f/10, 85mm (and raynox 250), ISO 800

I don't do much macro work and I've been thinking of doing more lately so I dug out the old 60mm and dusted it off, ordered the raynox a couple of weeks ago for fun to see what it can do.  I think my next step will be to try some extension tubes.  I don't care about auto focus which I understand can be an issue when using extension tubes but I often manually focus and always manual focus when doing macros.
