A beautiful portrait Ian - wish the dummy wasn't there - not against dummies - it just hides quite a bit of the expression on the face.
I was thinking of you and your portraits today when I read a Twitter (no I don't do Twitter either!!) about a portrait competition that Fuji are running - the prize is an X pro 1. The link has drifted off the page now but it is probably possible to find it on Google. As they say - you've got be in it to win it!!
Thanks Angie. It was a candid shot from about 30ft with my 70-300 lens at r=the cricket. I agree with teh dummy though, but never got a clear shot of him when he was without it!!

Very pleasant muted colour balance, most suitable for this kind of image. Liked.

Be what you are, say what you feel, 'cos those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Shame that lovely face is hidden by the dummy, you could always crop it out and concentrate on those inquisitive eyes

Great portrait Ian, would it have the same appeal without the dummy ? Great capture anyway.

Sweet picc. Nicely taken. And I really like the slightly de-saturated colours.
