I used this particular tree picture as the bark in this area was very bare and free from Ivy. The bark itself had an unusual bluish tinge to it and the above colour is not manipulated, all it needed was the eye and the Hoverfly Fly adding to it plus some eye colouration.

A super composition Terry.  Well done for compiling your own resources.  Quite spooky really.

Great job Terry, the ivy actually looks like it`s growing on the face.

Very goulish looking...the greenish tinge and the touch of 'out of focus' blur all add to the otherworldy look and is nicely contrasted by the sharpness of the hoverfly

I might have allowed one of the Ivy runners just to go over a corner of the eye for the encroachment aspect but that's being a bit nitpickin for an image which can really only be described as Brilliant !

Cheers Stuart

This is brilliant Tez, it gives a whole new meaning to getting a fly in one's eye!

This is brilliantly done. Only recently becoming a member of `Myfinepix` myself i,m still only just finding out whats what! But as i have now realised, to think this is just a site for showing photos is far from true. There are some very artistic & professional looking pictures to be found, (if not brilliant). I would not hesitate to say "Yours are definitely included within". A very big like from me on them all.

P.S. Thankyou for even bothering to look at one of mine nevermind leaving a comment, i am humbled.  Paul.
