I saw a grass snake swimming once as I was crossing a stream - quite big, and quite an unexpected shock! You conposed your excitement very well to get this composition just right.

No wonder you are thrilled Ray. Not only was it a great spot, it's an extremely well taken shot. Well done on the scroller. When I first saw this one I thought "Hello" one for the scroller me thinks. Just wish I had commented when I first spotted it. Still catching up after coming back off hols.

A gorgeous Grass Snake, the only harm they can give you is a nip on your finger if you mess around with them, Fantastic shot and congrats for hitting the scroller.
