Super detail and the colour is amazing. I like the DOF as well, but would love to see it with a dark background instead of the clutter behind.

It was on Velvia Uwe, which produces vivid colours for nature. Sometimes a bit too vivid when capturing things like 'hosts' of daffodils as it loses some of the detail. However with macros it's an excellent setting.

Another stunning shot Viv, i have been trying daffs in my garden i can get a lovely background with forced flash, but can never get the flowers to look as good as you can.
I think you meant Uwe (fotost) not Paul.
