Although I have no photographs on hand at present from this camera to upload, I will endeavour to sort some out and put in under hopesvend so anyone interested may have a look and judge for themselves.

I do find that using the zoom does not present one with the best pictures. Too much noise.I just try and get closer to a subject to avoid using it.

A couple of years back I came across this small compact camera. I was not particularly looking for such a small tool to capture images, but I bought it and took it home. I was after a smaller camera that would not take up much space. I already owned two big Canon with heaps of attachments.
Needless to say I was impressed with every feature this presents, from macro through to landscape and portrait. I take this little beauty everywhere. It makes my day. I enjoy capturing images of mammatus clouds and all the threatening shapes that come with them. This camera covers my subject very well. I do have a friend who knocks it for its small size. He thinks it too complicated but myself, I have not found it so.I can pop it in my pocket or glovebox of the car and know that I will not miss an opprtunity if one presents.
It answers all my needs for a camera of its size and would reccommend it to anyone from beginner through to advanced.
Conclusion, The A900, for me I have found to be an extremely efficient little camera. Although it does not have the capacity and power of a larger camera, it satisfies most of my needs, when I want to use it..I would class it as a necessary to add to my other tools of the trade.I hope to have the use of it fora long time to come.
