I did a review late last night and may have placed it in a wrong page.  Since I don't see it here, I am rewriting it.  First of all, Hats off to Fuji for providing a well built, feature packed, easy to use camera!  This camera is not too heavy and not too light or small.  It has a good feel in the hand.  Do buy the more expensive Class 10 card, it's worth it.  It has a battery that is easy to remove and or replace.  The battery recharges in a relatively short amount of time.  I only have a few g

I purchased this camera second hand and I can honestly say it is an excellent camera. After spending time getting to know the features and settings available I am now able to take some vivid pictures that I was unable to take with my previous cameras. The settings and features available are similar to DSLR cameras which is brilliant. One of the previous reviews has touched on the auto-focus issue whilst video recording but this can be remedied by selecting "Auto" not "EXR" before recording. 

I wanted a bridge camera which was within my budget and had a viewfinder as well as a screen. (A viewfinder is so useful when trying to take photographs in very bright conditions.) This model was perfect.

Having got used to the Fujifilm AV200, many of the settings are similar. Also, the flash unit doesn't go off unless it's manually activated. (A problem I sometimes had with the AV200.)

As an amateur photographer, who used to have an SLR when 35mm film was in vogue, I would recommend this camera

I've had the hs30exr for a few months now. I have found it quite good at most things.

Some of the functions seam a bit gimicky but I don't have to use them. the manual focusis a little fiddley. I really like the maual zoom. The inability to photograph moving objects (as the image freezes in the viewfinder ) is pretty poor.

the super macro is just about useless. you have to be so close to the subject that you have scared it off long before taking the picture. The macro setting is more usable.

This is my second review of the X-S1 as I am now more used to the camera and it's wide variety of functions.

After owning this HS50 EXR 4 days I yet to become familiar with this camera however there is one thing that stands out.
