Like most of the cheaper end of Fuji cameras. The S4200 feels like a toy. Has poor build quality. Loads of usless features that no one will ever use. Look at the Panasonic Limix LZ20. MUCH BETTER
Its a camera
It works
too many to mention
This camera goes with me everywhere. Its small, fits easily into a pocket or bag, and is ready to shoot in just a few moments. The build, fit and finish on the camera is second to none, and it just *feels* solid and over engineered. It looks like a vintage rangefinder, and draws compliments everywhere I take it.
The lens is super sharp, and color is flat out terrific. This camera can be just about anything you want it to be... set everything to Auto if you just want to point and shoot, or dive i
Sharp photos, accurate color.
As versatile as you want it to be.
Looks like a vintage rangefinder.
Exceptional build quality.
Menu/Ok button is a bit picky.
I got a Fujifilm Finepix F600 EXR in July of this year, 2012, and for the first few months, it was a AMAZING camera. However, in mid-november, my mode dial began acting up. It will not stay on one mode for very long, it seems to prefer manual to any other mode, which is extreamly annoying, especially if there is a great shot right in front of you. It has been a great camera, but I have been trying to find a place to see if I can get that repaired, and even in 5 hours searching online and through

It's a very good camera.....the 3D effect it's just out of the world..but it's really sad that fujifilm dint provide a carry case for the camera...the camera needs to be kept with care and it would have been pleasing if they would give a camera case too...

Finally, after 3,5 months my X E1 arrived. I have to wait a little longer until the 18-55 zoomlens will be delivered.
No big deal because I bought a lens converter (50 euro's) which connects my 35 years old OM lenses to the X E1.
Now I shoot digital with the Vivitar series 1 35-85 mm, Vivitar 24 mm, Zuiko 50 mm, Panagor 135 mm that I bought with my Olympus OM2 way back in 1976. I also use my Nikkor EL 50 mm for macro in combination with a bellows and extensionrings.
The imagequality is astonis
State of the art 2012
Fantastic EVF
Very user friendly en intuitive controls
It's a real camera with real controls instead of a computer that makes photographs.
I have not come across yet
I love the functions available.
More than I need at the moment, but great to have when needed, there is no rush to learn them all.
The vertical and horizontal panorama function in both portrait and landscape position.
The tilting LCD screen so I don't have to tote a floor mat for low shots or ladder for high shots
Always from Fujifilm the connected lens cap, and locking lenshood.
The quality of photos are great

im reletively new to photography, my previous experiance being limited to camera phones! this is a great easy to use digital compact camera, love the small, slim design and the way it fits into the hands, has a good wheight that lets you know its not a cheap £15 camera. I only really have cam phones to go by but i think the image quality is excellent, took a pic of a bird as it took off and there was no bluring. As a beginer i give this a 9 out of 10.
Easy to use.
Small slim design.
Fits comfortably in the hands.
Great image quality.
