After years of taking really rubbish 'pics' I found myself more and more frustrated with having ideas for pictures and not being able to realise those ideas. A neighbour leant me a digtal slr-style camera and the first picture I took blew me away! It was my equipment and not a complete lack of vision that was holding me back. I recently bought my Finepix 9600 second hand and it is taking some learning to really get to know it. However, every day sees a new successful possibility realised or another opportunity realised. I'm really loving the learning process!!
