I have taught Photography and Printmaking for 30 years. My roots lie deep in the Arts and Music. As we went through the transition from darkroom to Lightroom I have to confess I was a real Luddite. All my energies were deployed in nurturing the talents of others with less time devoted to my own professional development. Then I discovered the S5700 and loved the camera but the images remained on the SD card. It's only in the past 6 months that I have invested in the technology to enable me to "start over". I am now enjoying image making again and get withdrawal symptoms if I don't have a camera to hand. When I look at the talent that's out there through My Finepix I realise I still have much to learn. But at least now I have the desire!!!!. My avatar is the emblem Madonnas Frozen tour not because I am particularly fond of all her music but love the Japanese symbolism.
