I am a retired Professional. Although most of my time in the business was using the techniques of film, I have been involved with digital methods since the early nineties.

I take photography seriously but think it is in essence quite simple. It has been made overcomplicated for beginners using some modern digital cameras.

I have a progressive eye disease which has robbed me of my central vision. This means that I rarely comment on other people’s images because I cannot see the details properly. Sorry about that, but if you want any technical help, even with pictures, you can always ask.
